Learn the basics of frame loom weaving as we make our very own tapestries!  Students will work with a variety of yarns in creating shapes, patterns and color blocks out of woven stitches. Learn to make and use herbal smudge sticks using local, accessible plants. You will choose from a selection of fresh herbs, combining different plants and binding with colored string to create your own one-of-a-kind smudge sticks. You will learn the properties of several common smudge herbs, and how to burn smudge to promote relaxation, clear energy, prepare sacred space, and enhance dreaming. Join us for a free smudge burning with Full Flower Herbs and yoga with Amber Hammer. A smudge stick is a bundle of dried herbs, usually bound with string into a small bundle.
